Earlier, Public Eye reported former Coalition of Progressive Electors wonderboy and Public Eye reader favourite Neil Monckton was now the national campaign director for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now Canada. But, now, our spies whisper that he's also been working for the port-leaning Surrey Civic Coalition.
In an interview, Mr. Munckton, who says he's been spending most of his time "developing ACORN as a real force in Surrey," confirmed those rumours. But he declined to answer further questions about his relationship with the civic group saying, "You'd have to talk with them about the work I've been doing." But it seems the coalition isn't interested in talking about that relationship either. President Bill Piket, the editor of Have You Had Enough Yet?, did not return returned repeated phone calls and an email from Public Eye.
