Better than Ann Coutler, way better than Rachel Marsden

Non-blonde conservative pundit Erin Airton, Public Eye's colleague and columnist at 24 hours, has taken her two-fisted battle against the evil socialist hordes online - launching her very own Website. Ms. Airton, who works by-day as a mild-mannered account and business development director with public relations firm James Hoggan and Associates Inc., is also known for regularly duking it out with progressive forces stat champion David Schreck on the Rafe Mair Show.

God, it's not hard to top those two, is it?

Glad to see you back.

Now if only she'd turn on an XML feed!

24 hours? The paper is so biased I throw them in the garbage can whenever I see one. What's a conservative pundit working for 'em for?

Hmm an interesting comment to headline this thread. It depends on the context in which one is talking. When it comes to right wing wackos, yeah, I guess Erin does come in on the slightly moderate (not too much moderate mind you) side of those other 2. But can Erin claim to be a jerseygop.com republican "babe"??? The way Ann and Rachel can???
http://www.jerseygop.com/RepublicanBabes14.html

Mind you, Erin's only published in a free handout newsrag, not in the esteemed, highly regarded National Post newspaper. And, as attractive as Erin is (based on her pic on her site and her appearance during the federal election roundtable) I don't think that she would lower herself to displaying a Maxim/FHM photo shoot of herself the way Rachel did on the above titled site.

I guess it speaks to the quality of what you say, when you have to show alluring pics of yourself to garner attention, or at least the type of attention you're wanting. But Rachel, for all her beauty on the outside, is pretty damn scary based on her record of behaviour. For all of Erin's right wing, Fraser Institute bought and paid for philosophy, at least it doesn't come with a criminal record, or a psycho GODFATHER like overseer (Bill O'Reilly), who threatens anyone who dares question Sweet Rachel's virtuousness. OMG did I use the word Virtuousness and Rachel Marsden in the same sentence. Uggh!!!!

And as usual, women in politics are judged by their appearance and not by their abilities.

Seriously, can you imagine the above discussion taking place regarding a male politician or political commentator?

Let me clarify a few things here on what I stated in my post. I wasn't trying to be sexist or degrading in my commentary towards "woman in politics." I was merely pointing out the fact that, for all her Fraser Institute Blather, that Erin Airton has a good head upon her shoulders. And yes, it's a fact that she is physically attractive, but I believe that, inspite of her political leaning, people listen and respect her because her head is screwed on straight.

Now as for Rachel Marsden, anybody that has any sort of decent memory on current events knows her story. Liam Donnelly, SFU swim team etc and so on. And her political leanings are so far to the right, they make Stephen Harper look like Pierre Trudeau. And without mincing words, she's a total flake. Yet, inspite of her colourful history, she gets a column in the National Post, while an astute, well spoken commentator (most of the time) gets shoved on to the pages of some local commuter rag that people glance at and chuck in the garbage.

There is something seriously flawed with this picture. A intensely flawed person gets national exposure, while poor Erin is relegated to recycling bins and garbage cans. Once again, CanWorst Gliberal shows how totally out of synch they are with the average Canadian.

Rachel Marsden kicks ass. This chick Erin is a Girl Guide cookie seller by comparison. Airton isn't even remotely in the same league as Marsden and Coulter.
