New VI castoffs Moe Sihota and Norman Spector, whose political gong show was the best part of the Victoria television station's current affairs lineup, may have found a new home. Their song and dance routine is scheduled to be broadcast at 10:00 this Monday on CKNW and, according to the rumour mill, may become a permanent part of multimedia host Bill Good's variety hour(s).
Sihota and Spector's rebound relationship
August 19, 2004

My only surprise is that Bill "Not So" Good doesn't run this segment against Schreck and Liberal Apologist/Squawkbox of the day, on the Rafe Mair show. But that's right, he runs the 3 Canworst Gliberal Amigos in that slot. Baldry Smith and Palmer. Sounds like a 60s jazz quartet.
@kegler
Nice, very nice.
Kinda makes you wonder....if Sihota and Spector give the wheezing '98 some bounce will the braintrust couple them with Neil MacRae and go after nose-plug wearing, estrogen-producing synchronized swimmers?
GOOD FOR THEM!
Well it's about time they got back on the air. The New VI wasn't all that intellgent for letting them go, the chemistry they had on the show was great. It was informative, funny and intresting. Hopefully CKNW is smart enough to keep them, and give them a prominent role.
That’s great! I’ll look forward to finally hearing a little bit of a balance with Moe on the air. However, Bill & Jen still make me sick! Actually I would like to see Jimmies AM 600 give that old windbag NW a run for their money by increasing there talk portion to 2-3pm. Hey Jimmy, Moe would fit in nicely over at your AM 600 after Rafe.
@kayber
Good idea.
And the theme song for Moe's show....cue the Knack with 'My Sihota'.
Question though, would Jimmie The Pea dare to run Nardwuar the Human Serviette in Afternoon Drive Time?
Moe and Norman should have been on at 7:00 PM...in a time slot where they'd actually have a chance at surviving.
